“I cannot express our excitement at bringing DreamHack to the great city of Anaheim for our first-ever West Coast festival weekend — especially because it comes on the heels of our 25th-anniversary celebration,” said DreamHack Co-CEO Marcus Lindmark. “This debut event in Anaheim will be a not-to-be-missed experience for fans of esports and all things gaming.”

2019 has seen DreamHack host inaugural events in South America (DreamHack Rio); Dallas, TX (DreamHack Dallas); and Rotterdam, Netherlands (DreamHack Rotterdam). The complete 2020 festival schedule will be announced in December.

“We are thrilled to be bringing DreamHack to the West Coast for the first time in the history of the event,” said Visit Anaheim Vice President of Sports Development Roy Edmonson. “Events like DreamHack are perfect for Anaheim, as we have the largest convention center on the west coast,  and this is a great addition to our portfolio of clients.”
